the senate vote record for the bridge to nowhere. note that both obama and biden voted for it. mccain did not vote.
bridge to nowhere
name change
i kinda wish obama would change his name to “obaman” only so that the tickets would be obaman-biden and mccain-palin.
it’ll be a cold day

Would you like to take a minute to help Barack Obama?

Every morning I wake up the walls seem a little closer, the ceiling a little lower, and the air a little tighter. Independence never felt so confining.
disenchantment
I shouldn’t be surprised, but once again I’m reminded of how disappointing other people can be. I suppose I have no right to lay expectations on other people to be anything other than who they are. But it is certainly a sad discovery, when upon finding out more about who they are, you question how much more you want to invest in them as a friend, or even as a person.
On a different note, in an essay entitled “It’s Not You, It’s Your Books” published on NYTimes.com, Rachel Donadio discusses the rise and fall of relationships based on literary choices. I couldn’t help but be amused by some of the anecdotes that she offers as I thought to myself that I too might use someone’s library as relationship criteria. I wouldn’t go so far to say that it would be a deal-breaker, but I think what people read is a reflection of who they are as a person, and though it might not be the cause of why we would or wouldn’t get along, there would probably be some correlation. To that end, I’m glad that I’ve been doing a lot more reading as of late, because had I met myself this time last year, I would think myself to be quite boring.

what a fall from grace for a guy that used to make ceo’s and wall street’s giants shake in their john lobb’s and bespoke suits. i never liked the guy. i always that he was a smug p***k, and now now he’s getting his just desserts. however, i must confess a bit of embarrassment on my part since i always thought that it was new jersey who had the idiot for a governor.
and for the spitzer supporters, be sure to get your re-election gear.

america’s best dance crew is my new favorite show. hands down. i love not only that it showcases amazing talent, but more importantly that it brings to the forefront a style of dance that i really enjoy but is usually left in the background behind mumble-mouth rappers and no-talent divas.
in the words of lil mama, “i love jabbawockeez.”
of the groups on the show, my favorite group has to be the jabbawockeez (although kaba modern are a very close second). certainly their dancing itself is impeccable. their creativity just blows up the dome. most of all, i really enjoy their sense of humor. they are the work hard, play harder crew, which is my kind of group.
“the dance group of boyz ii men.” i can’t think of a better compliment
only recently have i myself endeavoured to dance hip-hop, and i can now appreciate how absurdly difficult what these guys are doing. time to go to mtv.com and place a bajillion votes. hmmm… perhaps if obama was a better dancer i’d consider voting for him.
marvelous.
i don’t like…
the cold water that hits you right when you turn on the shower.
when people do not step aside when you are trying to exit the subway.
leaky faucets.
alarm clocks.
negativity.
